( Myrna made her official debut Sat. Sept 29th 2007 at the Pacific Coast Fog Fest where she "wowed" the crowd with her rendition of the Queen of Salsa Celia Cruz's "Carnival" )

Myrna born and raised in the bay area, enjoys
spreading her love for music with the public.
As a child she performed for her family and neighbors.
She memorized prayers and turned them into songs.
Although she struggled to get her father's approval.
for her father came from a musical background and knew
about the struggles and didn't want that for her,but after
hearing her preform he recognized her talent and could
no longer deny that singing made her shine.

Myrna's smoky sound gives her the ability to sing different
types of music; from classic to new to r&b to rock to
salsa to rancheras. She joined the choir in high school and
was asked to sing the national anthem for her graduation.
The applause from hundreds of people filled her with
overwhelming joy.

She new that was where she belonged. Soon after she
joined a local band inher home town of Redwood City, Orquestra Pacheco,
followed by an all girl group named ChaChaBoom. She
traveled and got to share her music with many people
and soon got the nickname Canela for her sound and
Latin roots. Myrna has no plans on stopping and hopes
to continue spreading her addictive Latin flavor.
